The World Trade Center continues to take shape and claim its spot along the city's skyline.
Silverstein Properties hosted a tour of 4 World Trade Center Friday morning.
The building is set to be the first office tower to open on the original 16-acre World Trade Center site.
Silverstein spokesman Dara McQuillan said the reconstruction of the World Trade Center goes hand-in-hand with the rebirth of Downtown Manhattan.
"It's an incredibly exciting and dynamic neighborhood," McQuillan said. "So, when we finish the World Trade Center in a couple of years, it will almost be the crowning jewel to this entire new redeveloped neighborhood."
Four World Trade Center will open its doors late next year, with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as the main tenant.
