Worker Injured From Fall At WTC Site

An ironworker was rushed to the hospital with arm injuries Wednesday afternoon after falling at 3 World Trade Center.

Officials with Tishman Construction say the 36-year-old worker fell 15 feet from a beam while working on setting up a steel structure near the base.

There is no word yet on what caused his fall.

Officials say he is expected to recover from his injuries.

This is the latest in a string of accidents at the site.

Last month, a worker was injured when a steel beam came loose and rolled over on him at 1 World Trade Center.
