Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy that took place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn early Tuesday.
Officers were called to Saint Marks Avenue around 1:20 a.m., where they found Darius Robinson with one gunshot wound to the torso.
Sources said someone drove up in a SUV and opened fire into a crowd of people on the street.
They say it appears the teen was not the intended target.
Robinson was taken to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
His cousin, Barson Harkless, said the teen was just a regular guy.
"Darius is for a me a ballplayer, chill, parties, like regular stuff, regular teenage stuff," the relative said.
No arrests have been made.
