The man accused of killing his parents inside their Staten Island home was ruled fit to proceed to trial.
A judge decided on Friday that Eric Bellucci is capable of understanding the charges against him and aiding in his own defense.
The District Attorney's office said Bellucci's attorney confirmed the determination by two state psychiatrists.
Bellucci has received treatment since April after psychiatrists deemed him mentally incompetent for the second time since he was arrested.
He's set to be arraigned Wednesday in State Supreme Court.
He's accused of killing his parents, Arthur and Marian Bellucci, inside their Annadale home in October 2010.
