A Bronx woman has been arrested after she allegedly tied her dog to a park fence and abandoned the animal earlier this year.
Marley, a 1-year-old female spaniel mix, was found in a Castle Hill Park on June 23 by a passer by who called the ASPCA.
It's unclear how long the dog was in the park. The dog was thin and dehydrated when she was found.
She is recovering and will eventually be made available for adoption.
Marley's owner, Patricia Reddick, 62, has been charged with abandoning her.
If convicted, Reddick faces up to one year in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
