Crews On Scene Of East Side Water Main Break

Emergency crews are working to repair a water main break on Manhattan's east side.
The main broke around 5 a.m. on East 57th Street.
Workers shut off the water to the south side of 57th between Second and Third Avenues and the west side of Second Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets.
The Department of Environmental Protection says crews are replacing a section of the water main and hope to have water restored later this afternoon.
