The new plans for the final section of the High Line were revealed during a Monday community meeting.

The group "Friends Of The High Line" displayed the updated design renderings.

Last week, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn announced the city had acquired the rail yards section of the High Line from CSX Transportation.

The city said with the acquisition, construction of the elevated rail will extend the park to West 34th Street.

The park begins at Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District.

The group says the construction of the final section is set to begin later this year.
