A grand jury has indicted a Bronx man on dozens of charges following the bust of a major dog-fighting ring.

57-year-old Raul Sanchez is charged with 63 counts of animal fighting, among other charges.

Police allege he was breeding, training and selling dogs specifically for fighting.

Sanchez was arrested in June when investigators recovered 50 Pit Bull terriers from a basement, which included a makeshift arena with room for about 100 spectators.

Many of the animals had scars consistent with dog fighting.

They were placed in the custody of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
