A hearing for the five men charged in the September 11th attacks is being pushed back to the end of August.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four co-defendants are due back in court for a new round of hearings on August 22.
Lawyers for the men petitioned to have the proceeding moved, arguing they didn't want their clients in court during the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan from July 19 to August 18.
A spokesman for the Defense Department would only say the hearings were being moved in the interest of justice and would not say if it had any thing to do with the defense's request.
