A construction worker was hospitalized Friday after an accident at the World Trade Center site.
Construction officials said the worker was helping prepare a load of steel at ground level when one of the beams rolled over him as he was attaching a piece of rigging to the beam.
The accident happened at around 2 p.m.
The worker was taken to Bellevue hospital.
There's no word on his condition, although sources told NY1 his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Tishman construction said it's fully cooperating with the investigation.
