A dispute at a city nightclub - reportedly over a woman - seems to have sparked the execution-style killings of three men in Queens.

The New York City Police Department says at least 63 shots were fired at a Jeep Grand Cherokee Saturday morning on 144th Avenue in Springfield Gardens.

Three men who were inside were killed, a fourth was injured.

Police say the gun may have been an AK-47 assault rifle.

Friends of the victims tell the Daily News the gunman followed the victims 11 miles from a nightclub in Brooklyn where one of them had apparently just looked at the woman.

Area residents who spoke with NY1 say they are shocked and concerned.

"I think it's a sad thing that a dispute can lead up to somebody getting killed," said one Springfield Gardens resident.

"It's so terrible to know that every week that at these clubs there are three or four people dying senselessly. Imagine an AK-47 someone walking around with something like that. It's terrible," said another Springfield Gardens resident.

"I think basically young people should revalue their life and realize that everybody's life is very important," noted a third resident.

Police are still looking for the gunman.

No arrests have been made.
