Police are investigating after several cars in Brooklyn were shot at with a BB gun early Tuesday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday near Lee Avenue and Lynch Street in the predominantly Hasidic section of Williamsburg.
Police say witnesses told them they saw someone shooting a BB gun at several cars.
Police say eight cars were hit. All had damage to the windows.
Nothing was stolen and there were no injuries but residents are on edge.
"It's like dangerous and scary," said one resident. "We know we have kids around here. They usually play in the street outside. It makes me feel uncomfortable to think about it, a person just go around and shooting, it's like scary."
United Jewish Community Advocacy Relations and Enrichment is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with any information leading to an arrest.
