Part of the city's 911 call-taking system briefly went down Wednesday.
City officials say the EMS Computer Aided Dispatch System was offline from 11:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Wednesday but added that there were no delays to 911 callers or impacts to response times.
Authorities say backup systems went into effect and dispatches were handled manually.
They say the failure was probably caused by routine maintenance work.
CAD is one of the older components of the EMS call taking system.
The system hasn't been replaced yet as part of the city's multi-million dollar overhaul of 911 operations.
