After a ninth inning rally to save Mickey Mantle's Restaurant, it looks like the beloved establishment may have struck out for good.
A bankruptcy court judge dismissed the bar's attempt to file Chapter 11 Tuesday.
The Central Park South restaurant is currently closed and is facing eviction for not paying rent.
The restaurant's owner is appealing the decision.
The news comes as Mantle's original partner, Bill Liederman, says he has raised enough money to keep the restaurant open.
Mickey Mantle's was founded in 1988 and quickly became a popular gathering place for pinstripe fans.
