Starting Monday, food lovers in search of a tasty deal can head to the Upper East Side for the Second Avenue Restaurant Week.
The event is sponsored by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
Restaurants between 68th and 96th Streets will offer either 20 percent off food or a three course meal for $20.16.
Businesses hit hard by construction of the Second Avenue subway are hoping the event will boost profits.
“It’s really exciting as a local business on Second Avenue. We always felt we were in a great location but it will really give us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to a whole new group of people," said Southern Hospitality Coordinator Morgan Brady.
"The construction of the subway will make it even more attractive in the future. We need to preserve that and we need to make sure that the businesses here will be able to go ahead and economically survive and prosper," said MTA Capital Construction President Michael Horodniceanu.
