New York Harbor is the final frontier for the space shuttle Enterprise, as NASA's original orbiter is expected to finally land at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Friday morning.
The prototype shuttle will take off from Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C. early in the morning, piggybacking onto a 747.
It will then do a flyover of the city, passing by the Statue of Liberty among other landmarks, before touching down at the airport.
Enterprise will eventually be moved to its new permanent home at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum.
An earlier arrival was pushed back due to bad weather.
NY1 will have live coverage of the space shuttle's arrival.
