Police are hoping newly released surveillance video will lead them to the man they say started a fight that ended with another man being struck and killed by a subway train.

Investigators say the man fought with Joshua Basin, 20, at the Bedford Avenue stop along the L line on Friday night.

Both men fell onto the tracks where Basin was hit by an oncoming train.

The other man managed to pull himself up and run away.

Police describe him as in his early 30s, with a thin build, light complexion, dirty blond hair and pock marks on the right side of his face.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
