Police were searching Sunday for a man they say robbed a livery cab driver at knifepoint last week in Manhattan.

Authorities say the 26-year-old driver brought the robber from Queens to an address on East 36th street in Murray Hill last Tuesday night.

They say the knife-wielding suspect then forced the driver out of the car and stole his money before running off.

The driver was not injured.

Police say the suspect has star tattoos on both his elbows.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
