Police need help finding a man wanted in the robbery of a livery cab driver at knifepoint in the Bronx.

Investigators say the driver picked up the suspect on Westchester Avenue near Southern Boulevard in Longwood shortly after 5 a.m. Friday.

They say the passenger pulled out a knife, demanded money and forced the driver out of the car.

They say the suspect then drove off in the car, but it was found a short time later.

Police say he is in his 40s and about 5-feet-9-inches tall. He is said to weigh around 170 pounds.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
