One man is dead after being hit by two cars in Brooklyn last night, and now police are looking for the second driver who left the scene.

The New York City Police Department says Noah Foxman, 58, of Brooklyn was crossing Coney Island Avenue at Avenue K in Midwood around 10:15 p.m. when he was hit by a gray van.

The driver of the van pulled over and stayed on the scene.

A few minutes later, the man was hit by a light colored sedan.

That driver left the scene.

"Very safe neighborhood. And this is a shock. Terrible, and whoever did it should be caught and prosecuted appropriately," said one Midwood resident.

The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
