Bakeries around the city are busy baking special cakes for Friday's Christian feast of the Epiphany.

At Brooklyn's Don Paco Lopez Panaderia, they're baking Rosca de Reyes, the traditional cakes for Three Kings Day.

The 12 days of Christmas end with the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6, the day the three kings are said to have presented gifts to the baby Jesus.

The colorful cakes are shaped like a giant donut.

The Rosca de Reyes cakes are rolled, decorated and baked golden brown.
