Brooklyn could soon be home to the tallest modular building in the world.

The developer of the $4.9 billion Atlantic Yards project has unveiled the design for a 32-story residential building at Flatbush Avenue and Dean Street.

Bruce Ratner says putting up the 350-unit building using modular construction could save time and cut costs considerably.

Unions say they're opposed to the modular approach since it will likely mean fewer construction jobs.

As many as 15 residential buildings surrounding the Barclays Center could be built using modular construction.
