The New York City Police Department inspector reprimanded for using pepper spray on an Occupy Wall Street protester has been transferred.
Officials say Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna has been reassigned to Staten Island's borough command.
Bologna, who lives on Staten Island, will now serve as a special projects coordinator.
Bologna is losing 10 paid vacation days for improperly using pepper spray on a female protester back on September 24.
Video of the incident was posted on YouTube.
Bologna is a 29-year veteran of the department.
