Manhattan’s Luis Narvaez, 61, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and tampering with evidence.

Police say Jerry Kishun, 65, was driving on the parkway in East Elmhurst shortly before 5:00 a.m. Thursday when he was rear-ended.

Kishun reportedly got out of his vehicle to look at the damage and was hit by another car driven by Narvaez, who fled the scene.

Kishun was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car that rear-ended Kishun also fled the scene.

Police are still looking for that driver.
