New Yorkers put on their dancing shoes for the annual Midsummer Night Swing dance contest at Lincoln Center.
Dancers showed off their best moves doing the Lindy Hop to the sweet sounds of the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra.
The grand prize included a trip on Amtrak's Acela and four New York Yankees tickets.
The competition brought out amateurs and professionals alike.
"All types of folks come out -- beginners, experts, young, old -- and it's a beautiful thing to do in the city," said one dancer.
"It's a great night, perfect weather, perfect floor, perfect band, wonderful. It's just wonderful, New York is like nowhere," said another.
"It don't mean a thing unless you got that swing," said a third.
This season marks the 23rd year of Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center.
