Police were looking for two men accused of setting a Brooklyn subway token booth on fire Wednesday morning while the attendant was inside.

It happened at the Prospect Park Q line station during an apparent robbery attempt.

The attendant refused to let the pair into the booth, and one of the suspects became angry, allegedly poured liquid onto the front of the glass booth and lit it on fire.

Both men ran away, and the clerk called 911. She was then taken to Methodist Hospital for observation.

The MTA says its token booths all have automatic fire extinguishers in addition to handheld ones.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
