State Sets Presidential Primary Date

New York State officials announced Friday that the state's presidential primary will be held on April 24.
The State Senate and Assembly approved the bill setting the date.
Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Delaware are also considering the same date.
In 2008, New York held its primary on February 5 on so-called “Super Tuesday.”
The nation's first primary will be in New Hampshire in February.
