NYC-Philadelphia Amtrak Service Resumes With Delays

Amtrak officials say they may have found the source of the problem that caused service to be briefly halted between New York and Philadelphia today.
Officials are looking at an electrical substation in Richmond, Va. as the possible source of a voltage problem.
An outage occurred around 7:15 a.m. and service was restored around 8 o'clock.
Amtrak says its Northeast Corridor service has resumed but with delays north and south of New York City.
A similar incident occurred on Tuesday when a transformer fire halted service.
Amtrak was quick to add the two incidents are not related.
New Jersey Transit also suspended its Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Lines today.
