Congressman Anthony Weiner is trying to get back to work after spending the last few days managing the media storm over a lewd photo sent from his Twitter account.
Just yesterday he admitted that he can't be sure the photo is not of him. While speaking to reporters camped outside his Washington office today he said he's ready to move on.
"After hours, almost 11 hours of answering questions -- any that anyone wanted to put -- today I'm gonna have to get back to work doing the job that I'm paid to do," said Weiner. "So I appreciate your patience and understanding, and if I can do anything to make you more comfortable while you're sitting out here in the hallway, please let me know. Thank you."
Weiner has hired a law firm to look into the incident which he calls a prank, but has not contacted law enforcement.
The photo in question was sent to one of Weiner's followers, a 21-year-old college student from Seattle.
Both Weiner and the woman say they have never met.
