Congressman Anthony Weiner has hired an attorney as he deals with a Twitter incident.

The Queens Democrat says someone hacked his account and sent a picture of a man in boxer briefs to one of his followers.

It was sent to a 21-year-old college student from Seattle but was visible to all of Weiner's 40,000 followers before it was quickly deleted.

"Look, this is a prank, not a terribly creative one and it's a distraction," said Weiner. "Look, you've got the Republicans who are playing games with the debt limit, you've got a Supreme Court justice who's refusing to recuse himself despite conflicts of interest, you have a health care act that is under siege, you know, this is a distraction. I get it, I was hacked, it happens to people, you move on."

The woman who received the photo says that while she is a fan of the congressman she has never met him and has never been to New York or Washington DC.
