The New York City Opera is facing more resistance to its plan to move out of Lincoln Center.
The American Guild of Musical Artists filed a federal complaint against the opera Thursday, saying the move and a shorter schedule undermines the labor rights of singers, dancers, and stage crew members.
The complaint argues the opera should have negotiated any move with the union.
The two sides have been at odds over benefits for some time.
