Police officials released surveillance video Friday of the raid that led to the arrest of two Queens men suspected of plotting to blow up Manhattan synagogues.
26-year-old Ahmed Ferhani and 20-year-old Mohamed Mamdou were arrested in a sting operation Wednesday in Manhattan when one of them tried to buy handguns, a grenade, and hundreds of rounds of ammo from undercover cops.
Meanwhile, a law enforcement official told the Associated Press the FBI backed away from the investigation because it concluded it wasn't a legitimate terrorism case.
The suspects' attorneys deny the men committed a crime.
Both face life in prison if convicted on terrorism charges.
