DOE Employee Charged With Showing Lewd Pictures To Bronx Students

An employee with the Department of Education was arrested Thursday on charges of showing inappropriate pictures to students in the Bronx.
Isaac Bowens, 39, was arrested at M.S. 219 in Morrisania shortly before the end of the school day.
Sources told NY1 Bowens showed lewd photos of himself to two female students, and one of them complained.
He is charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor and harassment.
The incidents apparently date back to February.
NY1 reached out to the Department of Education for comment, but had not received a response by late Thursday.
