Before DJ Megatron was laid to rest at Silver Mount Cemetery Tuesday, more than 100 people gathered in New Springville for the television and radio personality's funeral.
The 32-year-old entertainer, whose real name was Corey McGriff, was a disc jockey for Hot 97 and also appeared on BET.
Those who attended remember him as a caring individual who gave back to others.
McGriff died after being shot near his New Brighton home on March 27. As of Tuesday, police were still searching for the shooter.
