A rogue Egyptian cobra still hasn't turned up at the Bronx Zoo – keeping the famed reptile house closed until further notice.

Staff realized the 20-inch cobra was missing Friday afternoon, and immediately sealed the building.

The cobra disappeared from an enclosure separate from the animal exhibits.

The zoo says it's confident the snake is in an area not accessible to the public. Snakes usually seek closed-in spaces.

Venom from Egyptian cobras can be dangerous.
