Residents in Queens, like most New Yorkers, are having a rough time with the cleanup following Sunday's blizzard.
In Whitestone, residents are busy shoveling themselves out.
They say most of the secondary and tertiary streets have yet to see a plow.
"I seen one last night. They came last night. A lot of these streets though, they haven't passed by yet. Hopefully they'll come by tonight; it's turning to ice on the bottom," said one Whitestone resident.
"I mean the streets are a disaster. They haven't plowed any streets here on Whitestone, it's a nightmare, a nightmare," said another. "You go down here to 6th Avenue and still nobody. Nobody's been down any of these streets. I mean it's 8 o'clock already, c'mon."
Some residents are also waiting for their lights to come back on.
At one point, more than 900 Con Edison customers were left in the dark in Queens.
