An indictment was handed down Tuesday against a Brooklyn mother accused of murdering her four-year-old daughter.

Carlotta Brett-Pierce is facing charges of second-degree murder, among others, in the death of Marchella Pierce.

Prosecutors allege the 30-year-old mother tied the child to her bed, battered and starved her and force-fed her over-the-counter medication.

Marchella weighed just 18 pounds when she was found dead inside her family's Bedford-Stuyvesant home on September 2.

An autopsy concluded the girl died of child abuse syndrome, including drug poisoning, blunt impact injuries and malnutrition.

If convicted, Brett-Pierce could face up to 25 years in prison.
