Craigslist Shuts Down Its Adult Services Section

The Web site Craigslist has apparently closed its adult services section, as its link has been replaced by a black and white "Censored" logo.
The closure comes two weeks after 17 state attorneys general demanded Craigslist shut down the section because it includes potentially illegal ads promoting prostitution and child trafficking.
One of the campaign's biggest champions, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, released a written statement saying he welcomes the change and was trying to verify the Web site's official policy.
Craigslist has not commented on its actions.
