The Republican Party is channeling JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater to make a political point.
A new advertisement from the Republican National Committee shows President Barack Obama's plane on its way to visit hometowns of Democrats around the country. Democrats on board then start pouring out of the plane's emergency slide.
The ad features quotes from Democrats concerned that the president's declining approval ratings could hurt them in the midterm elections.
There's been no response from the Democratic National Committee.
