A teenager was arraigned on armed robbery charges Friday after police say he went on a mini crime spree in Central Park.
Police say Jesse Wasserman, 18, of New Rochelle, N.Y. and an accomplice stole a bike, cell phone, wallet and back pack Wednesday night.
The incidents all took place within about 30 minutes of each other.
Police say the pair pulled a gun after distracting victims by asking for directions.
Wasserman was released on $150,000.
The second suspect is still at large.
The arrest comes as New York City Police Department crime stats show grand larceny in the park is nearly double the 22 incidents reported last year.
