Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed one man and seriously injured another early Saturday morning during a birthday party in Queens.
Investigators say shots rang out at a backyard barbecue on 202nd Street in St. Albans around 2 a.m.
Robinson Lageunesse, 19, was shot in his right thigh, and a 17 year-old was shot in the stomach.
They were both transported to the hospital where Lageunesse later died.
"He was a good kid, he was a good kid. The only thing I want to know is how he got shot and who shot him, that's all I want to know now," said Lageunesse's mother, Ginette Lageunesse.
Police say the male suspect is described as being 5'10" tall, and was last seen wearing a red polo shirt.
Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
