City Council Approves Redevelopment Of Domino Sugar Factory Site
The City Council today voted to approve a plan to redevelop the site where the Domino Sugar factory once stood in Williamsburg.
The plan preserves the refinery building and the 40-foot-high Domino sign.
It also includes apartments, retail shops, offices, and a public esplanade.
The factory closed in 2004 and was later granted landmark status.
