Two women have come forward after recognizing themselves in recently-released photos taken by a convicted serial killer who spent time in New York in the 1970s.
This week, the New York City Police Department released more than 200 of pictures taken by Rodney Alcala.
Alcala is sitting on death row in California for the murders of four women and a 12-year-old girl. But police have also linked him to the killings of two women in New York.
Anyone with information about the photos is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
