New details are emerging about the foiled bomb plot on the city's subway system.

According to Associated Press sources, confessed terror suspect Najibullah Zazi is telling prosecutors that he and his co-conspirators from Queens were planning to blow themselves up on trains in the Grand Central and Times Square subway stations during rush hour.

The target date was around September 14, 2009.

Law enforcement officials say Zazi scouted the stations while riding on the Number 6 and the Number 1, 2 and 3 lines.

Zazi, who was captured on surveillance video shopping for bomb ingredients in a pharmacy, is expected to be sentenced in June.

The new details come along with word of the arrest of a fourth suspect in Pakistan, where Zazi traveled with two friends from Flushing High School to train with the Taliban in 2008.

The fourth suspect is expected to be brought to the United States and tried in Brooklyn federal court.
