Man Killed In Manhattan Elevator Accident

An elevator accident claimed the life of an unidentified man Wednesday night inside a Manhattan office building.
It happened shortly before 10 p.m. inside a 19-story building at 18th Street and Park Avenue.
Details are limited, but the New York City Fire Department says the victim was wedged between the elevator car and the shaft.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is now underway.
