New Yorkers could have an easier time finding a job in the coming months.
A new study finds that 16 percent of New York-area companies are planning to hire more employees from April to June – up four-percent from the previous quarter.
The study also finds the number of those saying they planned to reduce staff has been cut by half, from 18 percent to nine percent.
The construction market looks to be the best bet for jobs, while the financial market remains the same.
The study was conducted by an independent employment services provider and surveyed 18,000 employers.
