The owner of the car involved with Sunday's hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn was released Tuesday after being questioned by police in the Bronx for an unrelated traffic violation.

Cindi Jasmin received a violation for driving with a suspended license in 2009, according to officials.

There has not been an arrest in connection with the hit-and-run incident in Brooklyn.

The crash left Erinn Phelan, 22, on life support and her friend Alma Guerrero, 23, hospitalized. The two were crossing Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights early Sunday morning when they were hit by a green Acura.

Earlier, investigators released surveillance images of a person walking to a taxi stand on Fourth Avenue in Brooklyn about an hour after the crash.

It is not clear if the woman in the video is Jasmin or someone else who may have been driving her car.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
