A Bronx teenager was hospitalized Monday night after being shot in the stomach, police say.
It happened just before 9 p.m. near 177th Street and Walton Avenue in Mount Hope.
A witness says he dialed 911 after the 15-year-old girl ran into his apartment building for help.
"I was listening to music and I heard like 11 gunshots and then I hear a girl screaming and then she came in here," said Bronx resident Emmanuel Rodriguez.
Police say the girl was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
