Funeral services are set for this weekend for a six-year-old Manhattan girl who captured the hearts of the nation during her brave battle with leukemia.
Jasmina Anema will be laid to rest on Sunday at a large studio space in Greenwich Village.
The little girl's year-long battle with leukemia grabbed national headlines as stars, including performer Rihanna, joined in the search for a bone marrow donor.
Jasmina also held audience with the president, thanks to the Make a Wish foundation.
During the search for a donor, thousands of volunteers were tested, and two-near perfect matches were found.
But the six-year-old girl’s body rejected a recent transplant and her health deteriorated.
