Construction on the Atlantic Yards project is forcing street closures in Brooklyn.
Empire State Development Corporation officials say starting on or around February 1st, Pacific Street between both Vanderbilt and Carlton Avenues and Fifth and Sixth Avenues will be permanently closed.
In addition, Fifth Avenue between Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues will also be closed.
There are public transportation changes as a result of the closings, including the elimination of the B63 bus stop on Fifth Avenue between Pacific and Atlantic.
